Miclantecuhtli Fez

It has been oppressively hot in the studio this summer. Not very conducive for being creative. So I strapped myself to the couch with my tablet and forced myself to produce something.

I've had this Aztec god of the dead on my Ideas list for ages and recently did a few pencil sketches but eventually pushed it aside. After doing the Axolotl with it's obvious influences, I decided to give this one a spin and after a few small revisions, and lots of thread tests, we have a new embroidery!
