Two years ago we had the pleasure of creating a special design for a really cool project. Now, after what feels like an eternity to our instant-gratification brains, we have a big news. The official trailer for Diani and Devine Meet the Apocalypse has been released and the movie will première at the Austin Film Festival in October!
The Muskrat Club Fez was created for the members of the mysterious Muskrat Club, a secret society for the rich and powerful that Diani & Devine run into during their search for a safe place to survive the apocalypse. These fezzes are worn in the film by the likes of Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Spin City), Harry Groener (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Armin Shimerman (Star Trek: DS9, Buffy).
We even had the opportunity to be extras in the film so if you watch carefully you might see a glimpse of the Fezmonger in full Muskrat Club regalia and the Feztress as a gun-toting attack hippy. I simply can't express how much fun we had on-set, working with the cast and crew, and making this special fez for the project. It was easily a highlight of our fez-making endeavors and I can't wait to see the début of the finished film.
