"Oh, Who is the ancient evil that sleeps beneath the sea, ph'nglui mglw'nafh ~gurggle~coff~ *thud*..." The theme for this year’s H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival was Fun and we decided to embody that in a fez design. The concept for Ub’thulhu first appeared in a sketch I did on a box earlier this year and I received a few requests to put him on a fez, so when I got word that this year’s fest was going to feature a number of cartoons I realized it had to be done.
