#33 The Android Fez

Everyone's favorite little green bot!
I finally return to the Fez of the Week concept in a big way! This week's fez marks two firsts for us. This is the first time we have a fez in charcoal grey and this is our first foray into opensource artwork! #33 is a Low Profile fez on charcoal grey velvet featuring Google's Android logo - my personal favorite mobile OS. There is a reason I had to do this fez. You see, the Google I/O 2010 developer's conference is happening next week and I don't get to go! Sure you might say: Why the hell would you belong there, anyway? You're not a developer! To which I reply: If I wanted to be guided by reasonable thoughts like that I wouldn't be making fezzes! ...but I digress. It is true, I will not be in attendance despite my heavy dependence on Google and their services... however one of my very best friends -Scott- will be and I am going to live vicariously through him and by vicariously I of course mean take out my frustrations in the form of a Photo Safari! So here's my plan: I have sent Scott the fez you see here featuring the logo for Google's Android mobile OS. If you are attending Google I/O 2010 on the 19th or 20th and you spot Scott wearing the Android Fez, walk up to him and introduce yourself. Then ask to take a picture of you and the fez (either with you wearing the fez or with Scott wearing the fez) and post the photo to Twitter along with the hashtag #fezorama. I will be running a search for the tags and for each unique photo that gets posted I will DM a coupon code for 20% off one of our fezzes. This way, on Wednesday and Thursday, I get to look at photos and pretend I'm actually there and you get a discount on a Fez-o-rama fez. Extra credit if you can get @LeoLaporte or @GinaTrapani in the photo too! (I'm a huge fan of TWiG) Follow Fezmonger on TwitterBe sure to follow me @Fezmonger if you want me to send the DM.
