Fez of the Week #30 is a bit of a spur of the moment thing. On Wednesday, one of the teachers I work with asked for a sample of my fezzes to show to his students. This is one of those guys that is always there for you when you need anything so I couldn't just bring him something I had in stock and with a name like Blackshear it didn't take long to figure out what needed to be done. When I was getting his head measurement he did request red fabric and I thought a low-profile fez would be a good way to introduce him to the world of brimless hats. So one Sunday I sat down at the computer and worked out the embroidery and sewed up a fez in short order. He'll get to see it this week.
